​May 2026 Traveling Teacher – Chris Combs, Versailles, IN
Chris Combs is a Certified Deb Tucker Instructor and will share with us the precision you can achieve in your quilts using Deb Tucker’s simple to use rulers that deliver beautiful, accurate results.  Many of us own one or two (or more!) of these rulers already, and the Class offerings should grow your confidence when using the rulers, or may open the door to even more fun and skill building, depending on what you choose to tackle.  Please note that there are patterns for ALL Skill Levels in both of the classes.
 
Lecture:  May 6, 2026:  “Studio 180 Design – We Have a Tool for That!”, 6:30 pm at SWIRCA
 
All Classes will be held at the Chandler Library from 10 am to 4 pm.
 
Class 1:  May 7, 2026:  “Star 60 OR Tucker Trimmer?  You Choose!”
Select a pattern and ruler from the following when you sign up:
Star 60 Ruler:  Snow Crystal (beginner), Appalachian Trail (beginner), Tulip Trails (intermediate), or Pulsar (advanced)
Tucker Trimmer 1 Ruler:  Spinning Pinwheels (beginner), Bread and Butter Table Runner (beginner), Whirling Dervish (intermediate, uses the Tucker Trimmer 3 ruler) or Triangles Galore (advanced)
 
Class 2:  May 8 and 9, 2026:  “Expanding Your Skills With Deb Tucker Rulers”
Select a pattern from the list; rulers needed are listed with each pattern (feel free to pick based on rulers you may already own!)
Wish Upon (advanced beginner):  Tucker Trimmer 1, Split Rects, Wing Clipper 1
New Year’s Star (advanced beginner): Tucker Trimmer 1, V Block
Nautical Dreams (Intermediate):  Corner Beam, V Block, Square Squared
Doubly Charmed (Intermediate):  Corner Beam, V Block, Square Squared
 
Class Fee is $25/day.  Pattern and Ruler prices will be available when signing up.  Supply lists are available at signup.   
PLEASE GO TO THE studio180design.net WEBSITE TO PREVIEW THE CLASS PATTERNS SO YOU CAN PLAN YOUR CHOICES AHEAD OF SIGNUP.  Note that the pattern Nautical Dreams does not show on the website for some reason, but if you use your search engine to find it, it will come up.
Class sign-ups are well underway.  We have TWO openings left in the Friday/Saturday class.  Please be prepared to pay the class and pattern fee when you sign up.
