Raintree Quilters Guild sponsors a Quilt Show every other year to showcase our guild's work to interest members of our regional community.  For more information and photos see buttons at right.

Meetings

Raintree Quilters Guild membership meetings  are  held at SWIRCA (SouthWestern Indiana Regional Council on Aging) in the Ivy Room, 16 W. Virginia Ave, Evansville, IN  47710.  This is just west of North Main St.  We enter from the parking lot on the W Michigan Avenue (south) side of the building.  Enter the parking lot from Baker Ave.

Meetings are the 1st Wednesday of  each month at 6:30 pm.   Everyone who thinks they might be interested in joining is  invited to attend meetings.  Children under 14 must be  accompanied by an  adult.  For more Quilters Guild date and program  information click here.

The monthly meetings often include a Quilt University at  6:00.  Quilt University is a short demonstration of a specific skill or method presented by an experienced quilter. 

Educational programs  during the meetings are sometimes speakers of regional  repute.   Other times they are presentations by guild members or local speakers on quilt related subjects.  Members also greatly enjoy the Show and Tell sessions at each meeting.

Small attendance prizes are given to  encourage  members to wear their nametags.  Monthly door-prize drawings are held as a  fundraiser for the group.
