Raintree Quilter's Guild

Promoting the Art of Quilting

Service Projects

The Guild produces quilts for Service Projects and donates over 100 quilts a year to various organizations in the area. Many, many people have been comforted by one of our quilts. Service Projects is a huge undertaking and could use as many volunteers as possible.

Quilting For Others is the fourth Thursday of January, February, March and April at the West Branch Library.  We start at 10 and sew until 3 or 4.  Bring your sewing supplies and come join us!

The guild donates Angel Quilts to the local hospitals to give to parents who have lost babies. Work is done individually and brought to the guild meeting where the quilts are collected and given to a hospital representative to distribute. Quilts are done in a very soft pastel colors. Each member is encouraged to participate in this very worthwhile project and donate at least one quilt per year.
