Memorial Day Picnic!

     My thanks to everyone that attended the Saturday Sew on the Memorial Day weekend at Red Bank Library. We had a wonderful meat and cheese tray, lots of side dishes, great desserts, and fun for all!

    Participants included guild members: Holly Yingling, Kelly Pace, Earleen Boylls, Linda Bittner, Mary Freeman, Janet Pfettscher, Linda Bohlen, Bea Taylor, Rosie Reising and there were 6 library staff members too!

    It was a great day for quilting with friends and sharing a meal with our regular hosts from Red Bank. Our library contact, Nancy Higgs, was very pleased with our generosity. We are just thankful to have such a nice place to play with our quilts. 

  

Getting to Know Your Committees

In an effort to familiarize members with the guild committees and what they do we will put the spotlight on one of them per newsletter.

Publicity Committee

     The Publicity Committee informs the public of who we are and what we are doing. They distribute information about our guild meetings, traveling teacher workshops, and other special guild events. One of the biggest jobs they have is producing ads for the big events: the annual Quilters Day Out and the biennial Quilt Show.
