Old and New Show and Tell
Old: What we'd love to have is quilts from different periods. I'll bring the quilt from my grandmother that was a wedding gift....so that's from the 70s. Do you have an old family quilt, or one you made 20 years ago? It doesn't need to be antique, just beloved. New: Then bring a recent project you'd like to share. There's nothing more fun and inspiring than seeing what others are working on.
Quilters Day Vendor booths included the following: Wetzel Woodworks brought her lathe-turned wood handled seam rippers. Crocheted and quilted accessories and décor items were there. Henry Hinton brought his information on sewing machine repair. Let's Sew, and Quilts 'n Bloom brought quilting supplies and tools. Delicious baked goods were available. Tupperware and Mary Kay product were sold along with doll clothes. Wood burned pictures and beautiful hand carved wooden spoons were also there.
